link: The An Óige Hillwalkers Club was started in 1993. The club uses a private bus which departs from Dublin city centre every Sunday. Hikes are generally to the Wicklow and Dublin mountains with trips further afield taking place on long weekends. | Ballyhoura Bears | link: A walking club in East Limerick with members from all over Munster offering 2 walks each Sunday and one each Thursday night. The club has an approximate membership of 200. The club runs the Ballyhoura International Walking Festival on the first weekend of May each year, in 2008 having 1400 walkers participating. | ||

We are mainly a Dublin based club although we have members from all corners of the country. Currently we have over 200 members. We do most of our walking in the Wicklow/Dublin area.
