 The Joyce Country Challenge 2010

The Joyce Country Challenge 2010 was blessed with good weather and was enjoyed by all, organisers and walkers alike.

There was just one shower early in the day but that gave way to fresh dry breezes for the rest of the day. Dave Joyce continues to hold his title as King of the Hills, coming first home in the challenge, followed by the legendary Miko Kane.

The lead walk covered much of the same ground, but at a pace more suited to enjoying the great scenery available in the Joyce Country.

The ramblers as usual had all the benefits of the location, including the café at Ail Dubh but none of the blisters! All monies raised go to the Mayo/Roscommon hospice foundation. Planning for next year will start soon!
