OSI Trailmaster & Geolives

Trailmaster and Geolives are computer based interactive mapping tools designed specifically for outdoor enthusiasts. Trailmaster is the original PC based product supporting OSI's Discovery series 1:50000 maps and costs €24.99 per region.

Geolives is an online web based service that uses the same functionality as Trailmaster and allows you to acquire maps not just for Ireland but also maps in various scales for Switzerland, France and the Benelux countries. Spanish maps will be available later this year. See http://www.geolives.com/.

The Walkers Association of Ireland is holding another one day presentation and demonstration of Trailmaster and Geolives specifically aimed at hillwalkers. It should help you to get the most from Trailmaster and Geolives. Even if you are only considering using Trailmaster or Geolives you could find this presentation useful.

Date:    Saturday November 21st 2009 from 10:30 to 16:00

Venue: South County Dublin Library in Tallaght Town Centre.

Cost:     €20 per person to cover costs. Restricted to 20 places.

Sessions:  Morning - covering a demonstration of Trailmaster's features and functions.
                Afternoon - Geolives, GPS connectivity. Questions & Answers
