PHOTO HIKE APRIL 2009 - Glendalough

Happy Smiley Faces At The End Of The Hike ...Happy Smiley Faces At The End Of The Hike ...

The WAI Photo Hike of 2009 held in Glendalough was a success! 18 participants along with their cameras came along to learn and experience the joys of outdoor photography, histograms, apertures, composition, filters and tripods. Starting with an indoor tutorial at the comfortable Brockagh Centre, the groups were whisked away to the Upper Lake to begin their quest for trees, ruins, rivers, cliffs, lakes and great eye-catching views on top of the Spink - with camera close at hand and a dog for company part of the way. It was an enjoyable day for most judging from some of the comments received. Thank you all and hope to see you again!

Glendalough Photo Hike.

John Connell On behave of Perrystown Manor Estate Camera Club I would like to thank all who organised the Photo Hike Walk in Glendalough last Sunday 19/04/09. The information and tips we recieved on how to operate our cameras, the importance of light when taking a photograph and not for getting the Histagram was invaluable. It was a fantastic day and one we will all remember. Hope to see you all soon on the next walk.

Cheers

John Connell
