WAI Program: Talk on Munro Bagging, Photo hike

Walkers Association Winter Program

Following the very successful Table Quiz, which raised over €800 for Mountain Rescue Ireland, the Walkers Association of Ireland is hosting three more winter meets in March or April.
The first of these is on March 5th and is hosted by the Irish Ramblers Club, when Anne Morrissey will be talking about Munro “bagging” in Scotland. There will be plenty of opportunity for questions to learn how to get there, where to stay, when to go and much more.

Photo Hike - April 19th a new sort of event for
The Walkers Association.  We will be hosting a photographic hike around
Glendalough, Co Wicklow.
Experienced photographers will give hints and tips as we take photographs on
a hike around Glendalough. This will be followed by a review of the day in the Brockagh Centre. Numbers will be limited to ensure a good ratio of experienced photographers to participant.
