First Winter Meet: Holidays in Tatras and Crete.

The WAI's first winter meet was held in Dublin south central on Thurs 23rd Oct 2008, attended by around 40 people from half a dozen clubs. The Ramblers were organising and Louis O'Donoghue from that club spoke for a while on the practical difficulties of organising holidays in general and the Tatras/ Crete in particular.
A number of people some in clubs, some not, mentioned their experiences and in some cases said they would be happy to organise a future talk.
The occasion allows walkers from different clubs to meet and discuss common interests - the first meet of many we hope.
