Marathon Walk Western Way

Annual Western Way Marathon (with half-marathon option)

Saturday 14th August 2010

Pre-registration required.  Application forms will be available on our website.

On the day walkers will be transported from the Community Centre at Maum Bridge (Droichead an Mháma), Co. Galway, just south of Joe Keane's bar (L: 962 523) on the R366 which heads south toward Galway City. 

Bus departs at 8.00am sharp to the starting point approximately 6 miles west of Leenane (Lionán), Co. Galway, at Our Lady of the Wayside Church (L: 808 594).

Those taking part in the half-marathon will leave at 9.30am.
